In the morning of November 30th, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the Revolutionary Liaison Committee imprisoned by the enemy and held the 60th anniversary of the "hatred day" (1.12.1958 - 1.12.2018). Attending the ceremony was Le Huu Phuoc, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the provincial Commission for Propaganda and Training; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of the Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial People's Committee with 500 members, who were revolutionary soldiers captured by the enemy and his fellow youth members.

Phu Loi Prison was built in 1957 by Ngo Dinh Diem and American imperialists to imprison Vietnamese revolutionary soldiers. Phu Loi Prison with the name of "Phu Loi Rehabilitation Center", "Anvil" was one of the six largest prisons at that time, including Thu Duc, Chi Hoa, Phu Loi, Tan Hiep Hoa Binh, Con Dao and Phu Quoc. Phu Loi prison was originally a military base of left by France and Japan, the US - puppet reform, expanded into a political prisoner of solidity and scale. During the eight years of existence (1957-1964), Phu Loi Prison was dubbed the "Hell on Earth" with all kinds of cruel torture cruelty. Phu Loi Prison implemented hard labor policy, put 14 rules of purpose to grip and torture prisoners with the cellar discipline, prison spirit, torture spirit, forced to break the revolution but the enemy's intrigues and tricks still did not extinguish the flames of revolution in the hearts of the communists.
On December 1, 1958, the US-puppet government poisoned hundreds of political prisoners at Phu Loi Prison. The poisoning caused waves of indignation inside and outside the country. After one month of poisoning, we received many messages from international organizations: World Union of Unions, World Union of Students, World Lawyers Association ... condemned the first act. * As part of a series of activities commemorating the 60th anniversary of the "Phu Loi – day of hatred", on the same day, the Management Board of relics, attractions and provincial museum opened a special exhibition "Memories of War" with Contents: Typical South Vietnamese Prisons; War memorials and historical cultural images have been ranked in the province.
The exhibition runs until the end of December 2018.
