Canh, visited and presented gifts to victims of typhoon Wutip in Bo Trach
district in the central province of Quang Binh.

Ten days elapsed since typhoon Wutip hit Vietnam’s central provinces, but Quang Binh, the hardest hit by the typhoon still faces a lot of difficulties with houses unroofed, traffic infrastructure, power system interrupted…The typhoon’s eye passed Quang Binh province’s Bo Trach district. Till now, many communes in Bo Trach district have faced a power cut and many other difficulties.
Mr.Pham Van Canh headed the delegation to visit those having houses totally collapsed by typhoon Wutip in Bo Trach district’s communes of My Trach, Thanh Trach, Dai Trach…At the visiting places, he also provided each household with VND30mln.
Prior to that, Thanh Le Import Export-Trading One-Member Co.Ltd. also granted 1,000 boxes of instant noodle worth VND70mln to Quang Binh provincial Relief Committee. They will be transferred to Bo Trach district where 97 out of 345 houses were totally collapsed by typhoon Wutip. Of these, 250 boxes are for Thanh Trach commune; Trung Trach commune with 200 boxes; Hoan Lao township with 250 boxes and two mountainous communes of Tan Trach and Truong Trach with 150 boxes each.
People in Bo Trach district also expressed their deep gratitude to the delegation. On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Pham Van Canh showed his sympathy to people herein while encouraging them to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives. “Binh Duong’s Party, government and people will further join hands in organizing relief activities towards the central region…”, said he.
Typhoon Wutip caused heavy losses for people in the central region in general and those in Quang Binh province in particular. With the efforts by the province plus the attention and help of other localities, it is believed that people in Quang Binh will soon overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
People in Quang Binh now faces a shortage of food, clothes, medicine…They intensively need relief aid from localities across the country to be able to overcome difficulties in the current period.
