Immediately after the Prime Minister issued Directive 15/CT-TTg and Directive 16/CT-TTg, Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, provincial Covid-19 Disease Prevention and Control Steering Committee urgently implemented the main tasks in the new situation. To implement social distancing, many documents of Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee on epidemic prevention and control were issued, showed the flexibility in direction and administration.

To perform the dual tasks while ensuring social security
Currently, Binh Duong has no recorded cases of Covid-19 infection, the number of suspected cases decreased, continuously for more than 10 days there was no detected cases. Since the beginning of this epidemic period, the province has had 84 suspected cases, all 84 cases were tested negative for Covid-19.
Entering the golden phase fighting against the epidemic, Binh Duong was assigned by Military Region 7 to receive and quarantine overseas Vietnamese, overseas students and workers returning to Vietnam. Therefore, all levels and sectors in the province urgently prepared concentrated isolation areas; equipment, medicines, medical supplies, personnel, and forces to participate in disease prevention. If there is a detected case, quarantine areas of the province (Provincial General Hospital, field hospital of Tuberculosis - Psychiatry Ward) and the district, town and city levels in the province are all capable of receiving and treating. In addition, there are Military Medical Hospital 4 - Army Corps 4 and Dau Tieng Rubber General Hospital that also give treatment to Covid-19 patients.
To implement Directive No. 16 of the Prime Minister, the province tightens the management and control of sources of infection. Department of Health tasked hospitals to ensure adequate personal protective equipment for all medical staff when examining and treating infected or suspected Covid-19 cases. All persons coming to health facilities show symptoms or have unclear epidemiological history are considered to be at risk of Covid-19 infection (F1).
Under the Prime Minister's directive to carry out dual tasks in an effort to prevent fight against the epidemic and to promote economic growth, ensure social security, Binh Duong implements a series of measures to remove difficulties for production and business. Specifically, the province accelerates the progress of key projects, expeditiously disburses capital to eligible projects; effectively implements a group of solutions on finance, bank credit and tax, thereby creating favorable conditions for maintaining and developing production, creating jobs and ensuring social security.
To implement social distancing to effectively prevent and control Covid-19, the province granted a social security support package for 6 target groups. Especially, when the sale of lottery tickets was discontinued, the province decided to give every day VND60,000 to each lottery ticket street seller from April 1 to April 15. It is expected that in this phase, the province will spend more than VND 8.2 billion to support about 9,200 retail sellers of lottery tickets in the area. Meanwhile, provincial Fatherland Front Committee called for agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals to donate about VND11 billion of money and essential goods to disease prevention and control. Provincial Labor Confederation also encouraged 700 lodging house's owners to discount room rentals worth VND4.2 billion to share difficulties with workers amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
In addition to social distancing, the province enhances the application of 4.0 technologies; the basic apparatus has switched into online mode; the whole system of Public Administration Centers temporarily stops its operation, only solves urgent problems; online teaching is performed uniformly not only at 3 educational levels but also in colleges and universities.
To perform seriously
Since the Covid-19 pandemic is happening unpredictably, Binh Duong province continues to carry out social distancing until 22th April. People in the province unanimously perform seriously the Prime Minister's directive.
People in Ben Cat Town, since 1st April, have restricted themselves to go out to ensure health safety for themselves, families and the community. On streets in the town, from the center to neighborhoods, shops, restaurants, and cafes have been closed. A few shops sell essential items serving people, but to only take-away products. People are also conscious of keeping the minimum safe distance when coming to these places.
Agencies, public facilities, people's committees, offices of wards also arrange personnel to work alternately to restrain gatherings. To strictly carry out disease prevention control measures, PPC of districts, towns, and cities directed agencies, units, people's committees of wards continue to strengthen the communication to people in various forms in order for people to properly realize and strictly observe the social distancing rules. In addition, Steering Committee for Disease Prevention Control of communes and wards regularly inspect, handle, and correct violations of the social distancing rules, implement the measures of disease prevention and control.
With the serious implementation of the political system and citizens, Binh Duong province would overcome and win against the pandemic.
