On August 10, provincial People's Committee issued a plan bringing disadvantaged citizens back to their hometowns at the request of localities for Covid-19 prevention and control.
Accordingly, those who are prioritized for registration are citizens temporarily residing in pandemic-hit areas of the province, not F0, F1, F2 cases (with written request for medical isolation from competent authorities), facing difficulties, due to the implementation of social distancing in accordance with the Prime Minister ‘s Directive No.16 for Covid-19 prevention and control. They include people with serious illness, long-term illness; pregnant women or those having babies; the elderly, people with disabilities, children under 16 years old; citizens stuck in Binh Duong, due to the Covid-19 outbreak, when visiting relatives, doing work or getting medical examination and treatment; freelancers losing their jobs and other extremely difficult cases.
All of the above groups must follow each locality’s plan to receive citizens returning from other localities. They must also meet requirements on contact and registration with their places of permanent residence; have the PCR test certificate 3 days before leaving and negative rapid antigen test results to SARSCoV-2 before getting on the bus back to their hometowns; commit that after completing concentrated isolation in their localities where they return, their family members will pick them up, take care of them. In their places of pernament residence, they must ensure their safe conditions when traveling by plane, train, or coach or other vehicles.
Those who want to return to their hometowns, they can register through trade unions at all levels, local authorities....by directly calling or asking for relatives to register for them. Provincial Department of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs will collect a list of the targeted people and submit it to the People's Committees of the provinces and cities for approval and send relevant documents to the People's Committee of Binh Duong province for support.
