Many outstanding results
In the school year of 2022-2023, with the spirit of solidarity and dedication all for the sake of dear students, the whole education and training sector of the province has overcome great difficulties and challenges to successfully complete the set out goals and tasks. Specifically, the mobilization rate of children in kindergarten age reached 32.44%, kindergarten 91.77%. The rate of child mobilization in non-public preschool education institutions reached 70.40%, exceeding 10.40% of the plan. Mobilizing 6-year-old children to enter grade 1 is 100%. All children complete the primary schools.
In the national competition for excellent students, Binh Duong won 31 prizes and had 3 students participate in the competition to select the team to participate in the regional and international Olympic competitions. Binh Duong also successfully organized the high school graduation exam in 2023 with the graduation rate of 99.76%. The average score of all subjects ranked second nationally, elevated by 1 rank compared to last year. Binh Duong is the leading province of the scoring students with a total of 3 subjects of literature, mathematics and foreign languages. According to statistics of the Ministry of Education and Training, Binh Duong is the leading province in the country in terms of the percentage of students entering universities in 2022. Besides teaching and learning culture, the province's education and training sector is directing schools to strengthen moral, character and lifestyle education for students through integrated teaching in cultural subjects and extracurricular activities to create new generations of students who are comprehensive in virtue, mind, and body for aethestic approaches.
Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Loc Ha affirmed that along with the focus on socio-economic development, Binh Duong always considers education and training a top national policy and a key driving force for development. Therefore, in the past time, the province has always paid special attention to promulgation and direction of the implementation of many regimes and policies prioritizing education development, attracting human resources, investing in facilities, etc. In recent years, the education and training sector has been proactiveand creative to overcome challenges and successfully completed the set tasks. On behalf of the provincial leaders, Nguyen Loc Ha recognized and highly appreciated the efforts and initiatives of the collective staff, teachers, students and warmly praised the achievements of the whole department in the last school year.
Efforts for more achievements
Entering the school year of 2023-2024, the province's education and training department has a great responsibility to face greater challenges, especially the competition for labor and employment in the process of integration and competition on educational development in the country and in the region. With the theme of "Solidarity, discipline, innovation, creativity, fulfilling the tasks and goals of innovation, improving the quality of education and training", the entire education and training sector of the province in the academic year 2023-2024 concentrates on implementing a number of key tasks such as strengthening conditions to ensure the implementation of the 2018 general education program, completion and submission to the provincial People's Committee for approval of the Project of "Consolidation, strengthening and development of human resources and facilities of the education sector in Binh Duong province in 2021-2025 with orientation to 2030", develop a plan to implement the smart school model, replicate the happy school model, and universalization of English language at all educational levels.
