As of early August 2021, over 4,000 volunteers who are experts, officials, employees, medical volunteers and armed forces have participated in supporting Binh Duong province in Covid-19 prevention and control. In order not to betray the affection and sharing of the Government and other localities, provincial Party Standing Committee has requested provincial Department of Health and localities to effectively use and give good care to this force.
Respecting and memorizing the deep affection…
During the difficult period against Covid-19 pandemic, the presence of more than 4,000 volunteers who are medical experts, officials, workers, volunteers and armed forces is the effective support and spiritual encouragement for Binh Duong to be resilient against the pandemic. Among these forces, there are students who are still sitting on school chairs. Bringing their sharing hearts and youthful enthusiasm, they came to Binh Duong with the mentality of being brave warriors, devoting their knowledge and experience to the province against the pandemic.

Provincial delegation pays a gift visit to support forces who are participating in the isolation and treatment of Covid-19 patients at Binh Duong No. 1 field hospital
To show their gratitude, leaders of the province and localities have often cared, supported and shared with the support force. Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee and a delegation of the province have just met and listened to the sharing, feedback from representatives of the support delegations. On behalf of the local Party, government and people, Mr.Thao sent his deep gratitude to the sincerity of the delegations for Binh Duong over the past time. The presence of more than 4,000 volunteers in Binh Duong in recent days has contributed to creating a motivation for the province to better control the pandemic; had more effective and timely strategies against the pandemic.
With the spirit of loving and respecting the noble hearts of the "volunteer warriors", provincial leaders have asked for localities to take good food for them; tried to take good care and protect the health and spirit of frontline anti-pandemic forces in general and support forces in particular.
Listening, effectively using support forces
After a long time together with Binh Duong to participate in the fight against Covid-19 pandemic, the support delegations had practical and useful and opinions for the local Covid-19 prevention and control in the area. Assessing that these are professional and practical views, Mr. Thao has requested provincial Department of Health and localities to have a plan to effectively use the support forces, especially especially medical experts, officials, staff and volunteers who have had a lot of experience on the battlefield against the pandemic.
Acquiring the instruction of provincial leaders, Di An city has regularly held meetings to listen to professional opinions from support delegations against the pandemic. In the spirit of listening, absorbing and being ready to make timely changes in line with the actual situation, leaders of the city have applied many opinions of experts to the task of zoning, controlling the pandemic, collecting and treating Covid-19 patients. As a result, the city has so far successfully established 112 green cores in the pandemic-hit area and is tending to expand these green cores. The number of infections, suspected infections and severe Covid-19 patients and deaths in the city has also began decreasing significantly.
Talking to us, Bui Thanh Nhan, Secretary of Di An city’s Party Committee said that under the close direction of provincial leaders and practical opinions from experts, the city has performed better in curbing the pandemic. Accordingly, through the synchronous and drastic implementation of measures on Covid-19 screening, the city has basically controlled the pandemic.
Meanwhile, Professor, Doctor of Science, Doctor Duong Quy Sy, Vice-President of the Vietnam Respiratory Association, Principle of Lam Dong Medical College said that as an expert in the respiratory sector, he has highly appreciated the spirit of receicing professional opinions and the openness of leaders of Di An city. According to him, Binh Duong in general and Di An city in particular have been on the right track in controlling the pandemic. Binh Duong needs to focus on well controlling social distancing as well as isolating, treating Covid-19 patients.
Doctor Dinh Quang Thang, who led a delegation of 23 volunteer doctors and nurses from Quang Ngai provincial General Hospital to support Binh Duong in the isolation and treatment of Covid-19 patients at Thu Dau Mot University said that during the time of participating in supporting Binh Duong in the fight against the pandemic, the delegation was helped enthusiastically by the local Party, government, medical colleagues and people. Members of the delegation were assigned jobs suitable to their professional capacity so they were excited to work.
Following the instruction of the province, localities have had suitable arrangement for support delegations. The coordination between the local Covid-19 prevention-control forces and support delegations from the Government and other localities has also become better than before.
