*Four northern localities implement Directive No.16 until the end of August 22
On August 15, Vo Van Minh, Chairman of provincial People's Committee signed the Document No. 3985/UBND-VX on further implementing social distancing in accordance with the Prime Minister’s Directive No.16/CTTTg and greening the province.
Accordingly, provincial People's Committee Chairman has requested departments, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to continue implementing social distancing under the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 16/CT-TTg for localities, including Thu Dau Mot city, Di An city, Thuan An city, Ben Cat town and Tan Uyen town from 0:00 on August 16 to the end of August 31, 2021. These localities continue applying maximum restrictions on people’s movement between 6 p.m and 6.am the next day. For the four northern districts, including Bau Bang, Bac Tan Uyen, Dau Tieng and Phu Giao, they continue implementing social distancing under the Prime Minister’s Directive 16/CT-TTg from 0:00 on August 16 to the end of August 22, 2021. However, these localities do not apply maximum restrictions on people’s movement within the same time frame like southern localities.
Based on the situation of the pandemic in each locality, provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control will consider implementing plans suitable to the local actual situation after the social distancing period. On that basis, localities should actively prepare plans to deal with the developments of the pandemic and apply anti-pandemic measures at a "higher level" and must not be "slower" in handling any pandemic situations; drastically implement synchronous measures to sharply reduce the "red zone", build and protect the "green zone" in order to soon return them to the new normal state.
If agencies, units and localities are negligent, subjective or vigilant occur, and fail to strictly comply with regulations and guidelines on Covid-19 prevention and control, their heads will be handled under regulations.
