Early October 7, a delegation of Binh Duong province, led by Tran Thi Kim Lan, Vice-Chairwoman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Permanent Deputy Head of provincial Relief Committee, visited and donated VND500million to typhoon No.10-hit people in the central province of Quang Tri.

In the central province, the typhoon injured 12 people; destroyed more than 2,500 houses, 57 schools, 8 health facilities, more than 226 hectares of rice, 850 hectares of crops, nearly 4,400 hectares of perennial trees…More than 1,700 poultry and cattle were swept away or dead. Total loss was estimated at approximately VND827billion.
On behalf of the delegation, Mrs.Lan shared difficulties with the central province’s government and people while providing them with VND500million.
Thus, after nearly one week, the delegation’s relief trip to 4 central provinces, namely Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh and Quang Tri that were hit by the typhoon No.10 concluded with total relief money of VND3billion.
