Binh Duong has no capital construction debts

Morning Nov 22, Ministry of Home Affairs’ inspection team led by Ms. Vo Thi Tuyet Thu, Head of General Department under Ministry of Home Affairs, had a meeting with representatives of Department of Home Affairs and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Binh Duong province on inspecting, monitoring the national target program of new rural construction and administrative reform in the province.

At the meeting, the delegation listened to reports on the implementation of Decision No 1996 / QD-TTg of the Prime Minister. During 5 years of implementing the national target program on new rural construction, all- level steering committee advised Provincial People's Committee to promulgate over 50 directing documents; departments and sectors advised on 85 guidance documents to implement the program ... Currently, PPC recognized 32 communes to meet new rural construction standards, upgraded 12 communes and 4 towns to wards. As planned in 2016, there would have 10 communes meeting new rural construction standards.

Since 2007, due to the implementation of Decision 93 / QD-TTg, 100% of communes, wards and towns of the provinces implemented integrated OSS system. Currently, 100% of new rural construction communes have OSS offices, equipment, software, hardware, and civil servants meeting commune-level modern OSS standards.

Concluding the meeting, Ministry of Home Affairs’ delegation appreciated the results of Binh Duong in the process of implementing the national target program on new rural construction and administrative reform. Especially, Binh Duong province has no capital construction debts while implementing new rural construction, democracy principles have been done well. The delegation noted suggestions and recommendations of the provinces, and then will submit to the Cabinet and related ministries for settlement.
