* To accelerate vaccination to maintain "green zones"
On August 8, a representative of Binh Duong Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention Control said that the province had basically completed the injection of 570,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine, including 420,000 doses given at the provincial, district, town and city levels to prioritized people's groups according to the plan; about 150,000 doses given to workers in industrial zones and will be completed by August 10.

According to provincial leaders, currently, because the injection results updated on the national web portal are slow compared to reality, the published data is still low.
Regarding the vaccination plan in the near future, Binh Duong province sent a written proposal to the Central government to ask for more 1 million doses. Provincial leaders said that, as soon as vaccines is allocated by the Central Government, the province will promptly give injections to residents and workers. Therefore, people and workers can be rest assured that the vaccination plan would continue to be done urgently in the coming time.
* Regarding the Plan No. 146/KH-BCD issued on August 7 of Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control on the construction of "green zones" on the Covid-19 map in order to help Binh Duong return to a new normalcy, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head Provincial Covid-19 Steering Committee, said that along with the vaccination plan, the province is currently focusing on testing on a large scale to create "green zones"; to create sustainable "green zones", it must be combined with vaccination, first of all to protect the health of people, and then to ensure the health of the workforce so that they could soon return to work.
Currently, Binh Duong is strengthening measures to maintain "green zones" while F0 cases are entering Binh Duong quickly. Therefore, vaccination is very important to maintain "green zones", gradually create community immunity, to "greenify red areas" in southern areas of the province, including: Thu Dau Mot City, Thuan An City, Di An City and Tan Uyen Town.
