In the morning of December 23, Labor Union members and civil servants held a summing-up meeting for the year 2010 and semi-review of 3-year-old Resolution No. 20 of the 6th session of the 10th legislature Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam on “continuing to build up working class in era of boosting up industrialization and modernization of the country”.

In the past year the provinicial level has guide and demand its grassroots to carry out Labor Union’s tasks for better care of officers and civil servants. 285 new members are admitted to the union.
Social policies and charity are carried out to support heroic mothers and privilege families at the cost of VND 28 million, to fund for the poor at over VND 297 million for flood-hit victims at VND 429 million and nearly VND 100 million for gratitude and charity houses. The meeting has also praised up excellent individuals and groups during Labor Union’s activities in 2010 and planned for operation in 2011.
