Binh Duong has a strategic position locating on belt roads of the HCMC and the Southern key economic zone.
After 2 years of construction, image of Binh Duong New City has appeared gradually. Shortly, the 1,000ha Binh Duong New City will be a civilized and modern urban area and be a central district of central-run Binh Duong city. According to a detailed planning, the new city includes main items such Integrated Political Admin Center, international convention and exhibition, hi-tech area, Eastern International University, International School, trade center, banks and hi-grade housing area, serving for 125 dwellers and over 400,000 employees.
The new city has so far perfected a planned-infrastructure facility linking with the national traffic network. In addition, auxiliary works and real estate projects have been launched rapidly. A series of works have been completed and put into use. They include a 120ha eco-lake park, Lucky Square Convention Center, international standard sport center, football, tennis grounds, swimming pool, Kinderworld international school, hi-grade apartments such IJC Aroma, Gold Town. Besides, project of Dong Do Dai Pho is under construction and Sunflower Villas project is attracting many clients.

Among completed projects, the Eastern International University (EIU) is considered a breakthrough to raise quality of manpower in service for the local goal of sustainable development. After 2 years of construction, EIU opened its first school year in Oct. 2011. EIU is modernly built according to Singapore-based Surbana Consultancy Company’s design, assuring a harmonic combination between functional areas and public conveniences, meeting teaching and learning and scientific research of an international standard university.
The most important mark of the new city lies in Binh Duong Integrated Political Admin Center that was built on Nov. 19, 2010. Located on an area of 20ha, the work is designed by Singapore’s CPG Design Group. This is a workplace for Party agencies, provincial authority and is a breakthrough in the process of administration reform. Under a scientific design, Binh Duong Integrated Political Admin Center will contribute greatly to raise the new city’s stature. At present, Binh Duong Integrated Political Admin Center’s construction progress has been spurred to open by 2013.
Shortly, Binh Duong New City will deserve as a center of Binh Duong city and will be central point of the Southern key economic zone and be a central-run city by 2020.
