Specifically, Huynh Minh Dan, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Binh Duong Newspaper requested Ben Cat town to announce and disseminate the contest to people from all strata so that they can provide valuable images on the development of Ben Cat town over the past time while supporting and creating conditions for provincial Photography Association to return to Ben Cat town in order to create works showing the local development during the current period.
Tran Thi Thao, Vice-Chairwoman of Ben Cat town’s People's Committee thanked Binh Duong Newspaper and Becamex IDC for organizing this contest. She said that this is an opportunity to promote the locality. Therefore, Ben Cat town will give the best support for the organizing board so that the contest can achieve high results.
It is known that after 25 years of construction and development, Binh Duong has achieved many proud achievements in socio-economic development. From a purely agricultural province, Binh Duong has transformed into one of the country’s largest industrial areas, in which Ben Cat town is a locality that has changed a lot and enjoyed many achievements on industrial development from the province.
To look back on the local great development process, Becamex IDC and Binh Duong Newspaper cooperated to organize the photo contest to collect valuable documentary photos about Ben Cat over periods, especially in the years before 2004 when the locality was still in difficulty, not yet reaching great industrial, urban and service development like nowadays.
The photos about the past of the land and people in Ben Cat town will help people look back on contributions by many generations of leaders, people and the business community here during the national process of construction and development, thereby seeing the transformation of this rural land in the process of industrialization and modernization, especially the effectiveness of implementing the Binh Duong Smart City Project.
