Early April 17, 9 districts, towns and cities of the province simultaneously implemented Covid-19 vaccination for 19,171 sixth graders. To check this task, Nguyen Van Loi, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly deputy delegation paid a visit to the injection site at Chu Van An secondary school in Thu Dau Mot city’s HiepThanh ward.

Chu Van An secondary school has 107 children under 12 years old eligible for this injection. The organization of vaccination against Covid-19 took place safely under regulations. Before being vaccinated against Covid-19, these children were advised by their teachers about the benefits of vaccination together with parents’ consent, and had good preparation in term of mentality.
Speaking at the vaccination session, Mr. Loi said that children are special subjects, so the organization of vaccinations must be implemented carefully. In addition to consulting and screening carefully for each child, the health sector and localities need to take care of them psychologically, prepare for their health before getting injection, and pay attention to post-injection health monitoring. Injection teams must be thoroughly trained for the best injection organization so that children are safe, comfortable, and parents feel secure. He emphasized that vaccination against Covid-19 is a necessary condition for students to go to school with peace of mind, ensuring the quality of education and training.
It is known that on the first day of vaccination against Covid-19 for children from 5 to under 12 years old, members of provincial Party Standing Committee attended injection sites throughout the province.
