The production and business cases of enterprises face many difficulties when the quality of electricity is unstable. Due to overload, the voltage quality is unstable, sometimes the power failure due to overloading affects the production activities of the enterprise. Some businesses in the electronics industry are worried about the unstable power quality that could cause damage, affecting production stages and lines.
Mr. Le Minh Quoc Viet, Director of Binh Duong Power Company (PCBD), said that he received feedbacks and suggestions from customers, PCBD cooperated with Southern Power Corporation to quickly survey to catch up. At the time of implementing the investment of T1 Tan Hiep substation in Phu Tan ward, Thu Dau Mot city to reduce the load for neighboring transformer stations, ensuring a stable quality power supply for businesses and residents at Binh Duong new city area.
Mr. Nguyen Duy Hieu, Deputy Director of PCBD, said that 110kV T1 substation and connection line were built in Phu Tan Ward, Thu Dau Mot City invested by Southern Power Corporation with JICA loan. of Japan with a total investment of VND 76.2 billion to supply electricity for industrial and living areas in Thu Dau Mot City and surrounding areas with scale including: New construction of 110kV line, 2 circuits, 2.86 km long and 2 x 63MVA 110kV substation. In which, the first phase installed a 63MVA transformer and is continuing to invest in installation of transformer No. 2.
“With a period of 3 months to build, complete and close the electricity and put it into use in the dry season, 2019 is a“ miracle ”as well as the efforts and determination of the participating units. In the process of implementing the project, there were many difficulties such as compensation and site clearance, in particular there were cases that hindered construction units. However, thanks to the active attention and support from the provincial People's Committee and the authorities of Thu Dau Mot City in mobilizing people to hand over the construction site, the project has been completed as scheduled. Under the direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the supply of electricity to the Industrial Complex - Services and Urban areas is very important, however, in the past, the substations for the area are always full of load, not satisfying enough demand for the entire load in the area. In recent years, with the rapid growth of industry and urban areas, the demand for electricity in daily life, production and business in the province has increased by more than 10% on average. Southern Power Corporation, PCBD has timely surveyed and invested a lot of power projects, power stations to meet the load demand in the region. Operation and use of Tan Hiep T1 station contributes to reducing the load for surrounding stations such as: Khanh Van Station; Station T4; T5, Bau Beo and VSIP stations expanded.
Mr. Tran Quang Vinh, Manager of Dai Dang Industrial Zone Management Board, said that in 2018, when no T1 station was built, electricity in the IP was very unstable and unstable.
