Binh Duong province’s authority has attracted talented people from around the nation by its favorable policies and human resources training projects paid by State’s budget.
On commemorating Vietnam’s teacher day last November 20, Binh Duong University has honorly entitled Associate Professor to Nguyen Van Thanh and Le Thi Man and awarded them with VND 50 million each. In the meantime, Vice President Cao Thi Viet Huong was instantly awarded with VND 30 million upon her successful defense of a doctorate.

Thanks to duly decisions and policies, Binh Duong University has maintained quality of instructors who are of high professorship. Currently, 3 professors, 27 associate professors, and 39 doctors arre working for the university.
In the meantime, Thu Dau Mot University, upon its establishment, has offered talent recruitment policy by offering rewards to those who agree to work for at least 5 years. The rewards are in accordance with professorship as follows: VND 160 million to titles of Professor and Doctorate Professor, VND 140 million to Associate Professor and Associate Doctorate Professor, VND 120 million to Doctors, VND 120 million to excellent Masters and VND 80 to others.
The rewards have helped to recruit 2 Associate Doctorate Professors, 20 Doctors, and 120 Masters from Ho Chi Minh City and neighboring provinces.
As for Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology (formerly a college), the policies lie within its allowances to instructors and staffs.
So as to satisfy the need of socio-economic development during stages of modernization, industrialization and global economic integration, Organization Committee of Provincial Party Committee and Internal Department have consulted with the Provincial Party Committee to build up action plans under resolution of the 8th Provincial Party Congress on training and attracting high quality human resources in 2006 – 2010 period along with 8 other projects in the grassroots.
Mrs. Nguyen Thi Nguyen, who is Vice Director of Internal Department, said that each department has launched projects to train officers, officials, and civil servants. From 2002 to 2007, 189 students have registered to all the fields demanded by the province. Under her assessment, the training projects have achieved and exceeded targets.
For the upcoming tenure of 2011-2015, the province will proceed with new projects concentrating on training key officials at commune level until 2020.
