Realizing the goal of building a strong association, the provincial Association of Farmers has deployed and organized patriotic emulation into the lives of members, contributing to the construction of a new rural area and improvement of the efficiency in production and business operations.
Emulating good production and business operations
In October, the provincial Association of Farmers organized the awarding of the excellent Binh Duong farmers to 11 examples with achievements in the movement of good farmers in production and business operations. Typically, Lam Thanh Thanh in Hieu Liem commune of Bac Tan Uyen district succeeded with the model of orange, sugar mandarin, and pink mandarin trees on an area of 20 hectares with average income of VND 8 billion a year and create jobs for 30 workers. Besides, Thanh also participates in social work to support difficult farmers, local charity activities and sharing model experiences with other farmers.
In order for the movement of good farmers in production and business operations to develop and improve efficiency, every year the provincial Association of Farmers actively implements the motto of renewing the method of leadership, direction and creating conditions to help farming households and business development. Associations at all levels actively organize supporting and consulting activities to help farmers in production capital resources, materials, science and technology, vocational training, brand building and promotion, and finding selling channels for their products. Associations at all levels also coordinate with departments, agencies and sectors to invest in production models and regularly train farmers on science and technology, seminars on livestock production, etc. In addition, capital creation activities are supported by all levels. The association actively and cooperatively supports farmers to access preferential capital sources to implement production development models.

The movement of farmers to emulate good production and business, launched by the provincial Association of Farmers, has made important contribution to the process of building a new countryside. In the movement, the association has propagated and mobilized members and farmers to contribute to the construction of rural infrastructure, land and actively contribute capital resources to build welfare works.
Along with implementing the movement of farmers to emulate good production and business, associations at all levels actively mobilized officials, members of farmers and farmer households with good production and business to participate in mutual assistance to help farmers, poor households, near;y-poor households rise up. In 2017-2022, the association directly helped more than 350 farmer households to escape poverty according to the province's criteria.
According to the Standing Board of the provincial Association of Farmers, in the course of operation, the Association of Farmers at all levels have affirmed their important role in rural economic development; effectively organize the movement of farmers to emulate good production and business, unite to help each other reduce poverty and get rich sustainably; participate in the construction of new rural areas, and civilized cities. In the movement, many typical examples and new models in agriculture and rural areas have appeared with initiatives, good practices, dynamic and creative approaches as more and more farmers know how to overcome difficulties to get rich. Humanitarian, charity and gratitude activities have been enthusiastically responded by many members and farmers with practical works. The life of farmers is stable, and the appearance of the countryside is getting better and better.
The signing of affection
In 2019, the provincial Association of Farmers signed an agreement with the Association of Farmers of Binh Phuoc province in the 2019-2023. Accordingly, the two associations of have strengthened social security work and supported members in events and activities to promote the consumption of agricultural products for farmers in the two provinces and closely coordinate and share experiences in farmer associations and movements.
In the 2019 and 2020, the Association of Farmers of Binh Duong province have organized 2 business trips to Binh Phuoc province to build 2 charitable houses in Loc Thanh commune of Loc Ninh district at the cost of VND 120 million; coordination in organizing medical groups and doctors to examine, distribute medicines, and give gifts to disadvantaged households and policy families in Loc Hoa commune of Loc Ninh district have also been made along with the visit to the model of high-yield jackfruit cultivation, and the exchange of experiences in directing the implementation of the tasks of the association and the farmer's movement. In 2021, when the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in Binh Duong province, the Association of Farmers and Binh Phuoc farmers' officers and members shared and supported local members with their love and affection by 1,200 bags of necessities.
Associations of the two provinces have also held meetings to celebrate the traditional day of the Vietnamese Association of Farmers; thereby, linking the association's work to continue supporting farmers in the two provinces. At the meeting to celebrate the 92nd anniversary of the Vietnamese Association of Farmers (from October 14, 1930 to October 14, 2022), the Farmers' Association of Binh Duong province donated VND 50 million to cover health insurance policies for the farmer members who have complete hardship of Binh Phuoc province. In addition, the Associations of the two provinces also received VND 20 million worth of scholarships for disadvantaged farmers' children from Huynh Nga – the former Chairwoman of the Association of Farmers of Song Be province.
Do Ngoc Huy - Chairman of the provincial Association of Farmers, said that over the years, the Associations of the two provinces have attached and coordinated to carry out the work of the association and the farmer's movement through practical and effective activities. Upholding the good tradition, the Associations of the two provinces continued to unite, and affirm the pivotal role in the peasant movement to actively propagate the Party's guidelines and policies to the people, especially on agriculture, farmers and rural areas, contributing to the successful implementation of the construction of the civilized and beautiful Binh Duong and Binh Phuoc homelands.
