On the morning of July 17, Binh Duong provincial Veterans Association organized the 5th Executive Committee Meeting of the 7th term. Attending the meeting was Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, Standing Member, Head of the provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Board.
In the first 6 months of 2024, the levels of the Veterans Association in the province have well coordinated in implementing Project 02 of the provincial Party Committee on "Promoting people's participation in building a civilized and cultured lifestyle" in the province. The development levels have recruited 548 new members. Up to now, the "exemplary veteran" movement competition congress for the 2019-2024 at the commune and district levels has been successfully fulfilled.
At the conference, Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan proposed that in the coming time, the Provincial Veterans Association should review the resolutions of the Veterans Association at all levels to have a suitable action program; continue to effectively implement Resolution 02 of the Vietnam Veterans Association on building a strong political and ideological image of Vietnamese veterans in the new phase. Concurrently, as asked by Nhan, the Association needed to enhance learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s example, attaching to the emulation movement of "exemplary veteran soldiers", the movement of "veteran soldiers helping each other reduce poverty, become economically proficient" with active participation in campaigns and movements of the central and local authorities.
