June 30, senior high school students attend their national high school graduation contest for the year 2015. In Binh Duong Province, 10,577 students have registered for the contest. Of the registered, 1,938 are free candidates. To confide the significant contest, local department of education and training demanded senior high schools to equip students with knowledge while facilitating participation of all the students.
Lesson review by the ending hours
The weekend of June 26 was the last school session of the 12th grade students ending their review and leaving them to self-learning at home. Being equipped with enough knowledge, they have been so confident and ready for the significant contest.

Nguyen Hoang Yen, a student of An My Senior High School in Thu Dau Mot City informed that by the ending session, her teacher has systemized the knowledge with hints for more reviews. The students practiced the hardest questions so as not to skip basic and easy questions. When in the test, the hardest questions should be resolved first while the easy ones should be solved later on with tidy and logical presentation. Particularly, the candidates should be calm and confident to present the best solutions to the tests.
For this year, Ministry of Education and Training announced the contesting subjects earlier with good preparation of review for the students. The department has demanded senior high school to organize teaching and reviews for the students. Mr. Truong Minh Giang, the principal of Tay Nam Senior High School in Ben Cat Town informed that the classes have been divided by their qualifications and the teachers have constructed their teaching outlines to suit the training for the contest suitable to the students. In the meantime, the detail plan of the subject and particular curriculum has been planned by the schedule.
By the time, the knowledge reviews for grade 12 students has accomplished. By evaluation of teachers, their students have been prepared for the upcoming contest. Duong Thi De, a teacher of Dau Tieng Senior High School evaluated that majority of the students have been so comfortable with their knowledge as they have been helped by the teachers and maintained their self-learning in group of supporting peers.
To be ready for national contest
By regulations in 2015, Ministry of Education and Training organizes the contest in groups managed by universities. Accordingly, candidates of Binh Duong Province will be at the venue Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine in 19 locations in Phu Nhuan District, District 10, Binh Tan District, District 5 and District 6. June marks the notification phase so that parents of the students would be able to find temporary accommodation for their children as well as preparing finance to support them at the national senior high school graduation contest in Ho Chi Minh City.
As for youth’s league, Binh Duong Provincial Youth’s League has planned for contest support. Accordingly, the volunteer university students have been dispatched to support the candidates with information and transportation. Attending this year’s contest, the local department dispatched 1 deputy director and 2 testing officials to the contest. Besides, the department has listed nearly 200 teachers to mark the contest paper at the venue of Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine.
In 2014, Binh Duong Province was listed as one of the 10 provinces of highest senior high school graduation contest results. By the thorough preparation and efforts of the teachers, it is hopeful that the upcoming contest should bear the expectations of the whole society.
