On the morning of October 24, Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the provincial People's Committee chaired a dialogue conference with women at all levels in the province. The dialogue topic was "Promoting the role of women in socio-economic development and gender equality". Attending the conference were representatives of the Committee for the Advancement of Women at provincial and district levels, representatives of Party Committees, People's Committees of 9 districts, towns, cities and departments, branches and organizations in the province.
Speaking at the conference, Vo Van Minh said that the dialogue conference was an opportunity for leaders at all levels to show deep concern, listen, share, and jointly resolve the thoughts and aspirations of women officers and members; thereby, helping leaders at all levels have the opportunity to grasp and effectively solve problems in the spirit of decentralization solving not only urgent and situational but also solving long-term strategic issues to determine future directions and tasks for women.
At the dialogue, many officials of the Women's Union at all levels, women who are entrepreneurs and business owners asked questions around topics such as: Women and economic development, women's work in the new situation, issues of social security, gender equality etc. Receiving and recording the opinions of officials, women's members, provincial leaders and leaders of departments, branches and branches have responded thoroughly, showing responsibility for the concerns, concerns, and worries of women in the province.
