Binh Duong provincial People's Committee Party Committee concentrates on guiding the effective execution of political objectives

In the initial months of 2025, the provincial Party Committee has demonstrated proactivity, adaptability, and resolve in guiding and overseeing the execution of essential political tasks. This effort is closely linked to fostering the establishment of a clean and robust Party and political system, which serves as a crucial foundation for advancing comprehensive socio-economic development.

Overseeing the successful achievement of objectives

Beginning in 2025, in alignment with the guidance of the provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, the provincial Party Committee and People's Committee have prioritized the development of specific programs and plans to effectively execute political tasks and enhance Party building efforts. A central focus is the issuance of a resolution to guide the implementation of political tasks from inception through the conclusion of the 2020-2025 term, while simultaneously translating targets and plans into actionable programs linked to the responsibilities of each agency and unit.

On this basis, the leaders of the provincial People's Committee have decisively instructed departments, branches, sectors, and the People's Committees of districts and cities, along with relevant units, to uniformly execute the goals and objectives for socio-economic development by 2025. Notably, the Standing Committee of the provincial Party Committee has recommended the formulation of an Action Program to implement the conclusions and resolutions of the National Assembly regarding the project aimed at enhancing socio-economic development, targeting a growth rate of 8% or more by 2025. Specifically, the Party Committee has proposed the consolidation of the steering committees for administrative reform, digital transformation, Project 06, and smart city development into a single Steering Committee focused on science and technology development, innovation, and digital transformation in Binh Duong province, thereby establishing a robust foundation to advance the comprehensive digital transformation process and the sustainable development of science and technology.

Furthermore, the provincial People's Committee concentrated on alleviating challenges for projects and removing barriers for enterprises within the production and business processes. It successfully conducted the groundbreaking ceremony for the Ho Chi Minh city - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project and reviewed and advised the provincial Party Committee on addressing obstacles related to the investment in the expansion of National Highway 13 and Ho Chi Minh city Ring Road 4 traversing the province.

Thanks to these efforts, the provincial economy in the first quarter of 2025 achieved several positive outcomes: Economic growth reached 6.74% compared to the same period in 2024; budget revenue accounted for 31% of the estimate; foreign direct investment (FDI) attracted totaled 3.6 billion USD; domestic investment capital amounted to 1.8 billion USD; and total social investment capital continued to show significant growth.

Advancing the significance of core leadership

In addition to executing professional responsibilities, the provincial Party Committee has designated party-building efforts as a critical priority. In the initial months of 2025, the Party Committee has guided and directed grassroots Party cells and committees to facilitate the study, dissemination, and rigorous implementation of directives, resolutions, conclusions, and instructions from both the Central and provincial Party Committees. All Party organizations, cadres, and members have been engaged in studying, comprehending, and applying the new documents.

The Party Committee conducted two online conferences at the Party level to disseminate and promote the new directives from the Central Committee and the provincial Party Committee regarding the reorganization of the political system. The "Good Party Member - Effective Initiative" model was implemented uniformly across grassroots Party organizations, resulting in initial positive changes in the awareness and actions of cadres and Party members.

Furthermore, the Party Committee facilitated a political theory training course for 152 new Party members, thereby enhancing the quality of the team and fostering a pool of qualified and capable successor cadres. Concurrently, the Party Committees of various agencies, public service units, and enterprises within the bloc continued to strengthen their leadership and guidance roles, ensuring that cadres and Party members adhere strictly to the Party's directives as well as the laws and policies of the State, while also promoting a sense of responsibility in advising and executing professional tasks.

In discussing the forthcoming tasks, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Chairman of the provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the provincial Party Committee will continue to thoroughly understand and diligently implement the directives of both the Central and provincial Party Committees. The focus will be on advancing socio-economic development to achieve double-digit growth targets, finalizing the budget estimate, enhancing public investment, and fostering advancements in science and technology, as well as national digital transformation by 2025. Notably, the comprehensive leadership role of the Party Committee over the political system and the professional activities of the provincial People's Committee will be further reinforced through coordinated solutions aimed at improving staff quality, encouraging innovation and creativity, and promoting a spirit of bold thinking and action for the collective good.

The Party Committee has notably enhanced its political and ideological initiatives, swiftly assimilating and executing new directives from the Central and provincial Party Committees regarding the reorganization of the apparatus in accordance with the two-level local government model. This has fostered a strong sense of unity and consensus throughout the entire Party Committee, thereby bolstering the leadership capacity and combat effectiveness of the Party organization across the entire bloc. With a commitment to solidarity, dynamism, innovation, and accountability, the provincial People's Committee Party Committee is resolutely focused on achieving the established targets, tasks, and plans.
