On January 9, the provincial Trade Union organized a conference to summarize the trade union activities in 2023 and to outline the directions and tasks for 2024.
In 2023, the grassroots unions under the provincial Trade Union of Civil Servants have effectively carried out the work of propaganda and political education for officials, civil servants, and workers. They have actively proposed recommendations to the Party committees, authorities, and mobilized officials, civil servants, and workers to actively uphold the sense of responsibility of public servants, fulfill their assigned tasks, and contribute to the successful completion of the political tasks of their agencies and units.
In the year, the provincial Trade Union has directed its affiliated grassroots trade unions to effectively implement policies to take care of officials, civil servants, and workers, providing support for union members to access revolving loans and emergency allowances at their units. Throughout the year, the support has been provided to 407 officials, civil servants, and workers, with a total amount exceeding 1.94 billion VND. Additionally, the grassroots trade unions have also acted as guarantors for officials, civil servants, and workers to obtain personal loans from banks and the CEP branch in Binh Duong.
At the conference, the provincial Trade Union acknowledged the opinions and proposals put forward by the leaders of the grassroots trade unions regarding tasks and solutions for 2024, especially the organization of competitive movements, activities related to resources, and beneficial playgrounds for officials, civil servants, and workers.
On the ocassion, the provincial Trade Union has announced the decisions to award commemorative medals and commendations from the Vietnam General Trade Union, the provincial Trade Union to over 200 collectives and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in the trade union activities competition in 2023.
