On the afternoon of January 16, Nguyen Loc Ha, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee, chaired a meeting with a high-ranking delegation from Laos’Champasak province, led by Alounxay SounNaLath, a member of the Central Party Committee, Secretary of Party Committee and Governor of Champasak province, who visited and worked in Binh Dương. The meeting was attended by Nguyen Van Loc, a member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Bui Minh Thanh, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee, along with representatives from provincial departments and agencies.
On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Alounxay SounNaLath expressed gratitude for the warm reception from leaders of Binh Duong. He also appreciated the friendly cooperation between Binh Duong and Champasak provinces as well as between Vietnam and Laos, especially the exchange of high-level delegations to visit, work, share experience and jointly promote sustainable development.
On this occasion, Mr.Alounxay SounNaLath extended Tet greetings to leaders and people of Binh Duong, wishing them good health, happiness, peace, prosperity and success in achieving new victories. On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr. Ha thanked the high-ranking delegation from Champasak province for their visit and kind wishes while also informing them of the province’s outstanding socio-economic development, national defense and security in 2024, along with orientations and tasks for 2025.
Highlighting the strong cooperation between the two provinces over the past years, Mr. Ha emphasized that in the coming time, in addition to aspects already cooperated on, Binh Duong will review, support and create conditions for the two provinces to have more opportunities for collaboration, further strengthening the comprehensive and friendly relationship between Binh Duong and Champasak.
On this occasion, the President of the Lao People's Democratic Republic awarded the First-Class Labor Order to Binh Duong province and Nguyen Van Loc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee and Chairman of provincial People’s Council, in recognition of the significant contributions and achievements of the collective and individuals in the special friendly and comprehensive cooperation between Binh Duong and Champasak provinces.
