On June 5, a grand meeting to mark the World Environment Day will be held at Binh Duong New City. At the meeting, a ceremony to honor businesses excelling environment protection will also be held. After that, the organizing board will open Binh Duong New City Football Tournament with the participation of 200 football teams from businesses and will launch a tree planting movement.

After the meeting, 26 flower-decorated carriages of the local department of Environment and Natural Resources and the department’s branches at all levels, local Youth Union, Becamex IDC and about 10 flower carriages of businesses being listed in Binh Duong Green Book 2010 will depart from Binh Duong urban-industry-service complex to Binh Duong Avenue, Nguyen Van Tiet Road, August Revolution Road and Binh Duong Radio and Television.

Do Ngoc Huy, vice secretary of the local Youth Union, said the union initiated and implemented green-beautiful-clean movement, launched green tree planting activities. Besides, the union held talkshows, training courses and contests to raise awareness of community.
Besides, the union combined the work of environment protection with meetings and contests of environment protection. The provincial Farmer Society alone steered its branches to launch 26 environmental protection locations across localities. Every location will include 100 people involving in cleaning residential areas and expanding models of environment protection among people.
