Binh Duong Social Insurance just held the 15th founding anniversary of Social Insurance and got the Second Class Labor Order. Over the past 15 years, Binh Duong Social Insurance has managed to reap significant results. In initial days of its inception, the entire province had only 355 units of 35,000 laborers involving in social insurance but till 2009 the province had 4,617 units of 518,127 workers. The total turnover of social and health and volunteer insurance in the past year was VND2,376bil, up over 50 times from 1996.
Nguyen Van Hiep, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee granted second class Labor Order to Binh Duong Social Insurance.
Addressing the ceremony, Nguyen Van Hiep, vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee asked the sector to conduct some key tasks of excelling payments of social insurance for laborers and developing more insurance participants and so on.
On behalf of the State President, Hiep granted second class Labor Order to the sector and Third Class Labor Order to Bui Huu Phong, director of the local Social Insurance.
