Currently, the whole province has more than 23,000 students, of which more than 21,000 students studying at 6 universities and colleges. In the 2018- 2019 acedemic year with the theme "Year for creativity and entrepreneurship of Binh Duong students", all levels of Provincial Students’ Union made great efforts to implement annual work programs and achieved good results on all aspects... On occasion of Vietnamese Students’ Day, Provincial Students’ Union hold Students' Festival with traffic culture 2018. In the last school year, Provincial Students’ Union and colleges, universities created a good environment and conditions for students to implement the movement of good students through learning, virtue practicing, voluntary movements, physical training, international integration... Accordingly, learning is the utmost importance, Provincial Students’ Union of all levels in the province well implemented movements in learning, creativity, scientific research, such as: conference guiding the methods of university, college study, and scientific research in the 2017-2018 school year; talk show about career guidance... attracted the participation of many students. In particular, to support the year of "Youth Startup", Provincial Students’ Union held a festival of "Creative and startup of students" in 2018 and attracted more than 1,200 members and students. There were also a series of creative and entrepreneurial student journeys combined with a student contest of creative startup ideas. In order to motivate students with good study conditions, in the last school year, Provincial Students’ Union awarded 313 scholarships to students with a total value of nearly VND 700 million. Additionally, activities of virtue, good lifestyle practicing for students were also widely organzied through extracurricular activities, talks about building cultural schools, students' lifestyle, forming good habits for students. Accordingly, more and more student clubs, teams and groups for propaganda of gender law, adolescent health care, and social evils prevention appeared and created positive impacts on students. In the 2017-2018 school year, Binh Duong students also carried out many impressive voluntary movements, such as supporting schooling, exam counseling, enrollment counseling, green summer campaign... Especially, in 2018, Binh Duong students were very active in activities to support the 11th WTA Conference and Horasis. External relations were also enhanced by exchange programs, meeting between Vietnamese and Cambodian youth, Mekong cultural exchange program, friendly exchange program with Champasak Students’ Association (Laos)... Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Deputy Secretary of Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of Provincial Student Association, said: “Through these activities, the position of Binh Duong Student’s Association and its movement in general movements of the whole country. We were also appreciated by the Central Students Association and provincial leaders. Our achievements in the first semester of 2018-2019 school year were very good. However, students in the province could do more things with better scale and quality, if there are more social resources”. Exciting activities to celebrate Vietnamese Student's Day (9 Jan) To celebrate the 69th Vietnamese Student's Day (9 Jan 1950 - 9 Jan 2019) and the 22nd anniversary of Binh Duong's development (1 Jan 1997 – 1 Jan 2019), activities and projects of Student's Union for the 10th successful National Congress of Vietnamese Students' Association, 2018-2023, were organized and widely implemented by students, members. A lively atmosphere appeared in almost activities, from provincial to grassroots levels, with programs such as Student with traffic culture festival, voluntary blood donation, launch of media club, club of volunteers for Binh Duong international events, and activities celebrating major holidays... attracting many members and students to participate. At the same time, grassroots-level activities gained many good results, such as: Student Leadership Contest of Binh Duong University, TDM University Got Talen Contest, Elegant Betu Contest of Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology, warm Winter program of Medical College, Robot contest of Vietnam - Singapore Vocational College... In particular, to celebrate the students’ day, from the province to grassroots levels will organize a get-together; activities to celebrate the Party - celebrating the spring associated with, Voluntary Winter Campaign, Voluntary Spring Campaign in 2019, and free medical examination and medicines for disadvantaged people; visit and give gifts to disadvantaged students, who cannot return home on Tet 2019; Binh Duong traditional students’ camp, high school student festival "When I was 18", praising good students...
