Under the direction of provincial Party Committee and responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), provincial Fatherland Front Standing Committee-provincial Standing Committee for Relief Mobilization has allocated VND 10 billion from provincial "Relief Fund" to assist people affected by typhoon Yagi in 10 northern provinces and cities, namely Son La, Lao Cai, Cao Bang, Hoa Binh, Yen Bai, Thai Binh, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen and Hai Phong city, with each locality receiving VND 1 billion.
On the afternoon of September 10, Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, directly presented a symbolic check of VND 10 billion at the relief launching ceremony organized by the Central Committee of the VFF in Hanoi. Provincial Relief Fund transferred the financial support directly to the 10 provinces and cities.
