A delegation from Binh Duong, led by Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Public Relations, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee, on October 22, visited and encouraged flood victims in Bo Trach district in the central province of Quang Binh while donating VND1.3billion as relief aid to flood victims in the central province of Ha Tinh.

Particularly, the delegation visited and supported 400 gifts for people in Bo Trach district’s hardest hit communes, namely Bac Trach, Ha Trach, My Trach. The delegation also offered VND1billion to flood victims in Ha Tinh province. Besides, Dai Nam Tourist Joint Stock Company’s Hang Huu Foundation gave VND300million for the central province.
On behalf of leaders of Ha Tinh province, Tran Nam Hong, Permanent Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee expressed his deep gratitude to Binh Duong’s cadres, soldiers and people. He also pledged that the above money will be used properly, helping locals soon stabilize their lives.
Thus, the delegation supported VND2.6billion for flood victims in Quang Binh and Ha Tinh during the two-day trip. This was also the first relief aid stage of Binh Duong. Many other delegations from the province are also forwarding relief aid activities in the flood-hit central region. In the next few weeks, provincial Fatherland Front Committee will continue sending gifts from organizations and individuals to flood victims in the central region.
