Early May 5, Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Chairman of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of provincial Military Command, Department of Foreign Affairs and Department of Health offered gifts worth more than VND1.1billion to Kratie province.for Covid-19 prevention and control.

Particularly, the delegation donated US$30,000 and medical equipment, including 2,000 protective suits, 7,500 cloth masks, 12,500 medical masks, 50,000 medical gloves, nearly 600 liters of hand sanitizer and 225 kg of Chloramine, to the locality.
On behalf of provincial leaders, Mr.Liem shared the local experience in Covid-19 prevention and control with Kratie province. Thanks to isolation methods seriously implemented, there were no Covid-19 cases reported in the province. The province has focused on easing social distancing; mobilized all resources to offer help to those who have been affected by the pandemic while taking support measures for enterprises, helping them recover their production-business activities.
Through the support program, Binh Duong province’s Party, government and people wanted to help Kratie province’s government and people improve the effectiveness of Covid-19 prevention and control so that trade activities between Vietnam and Cambodia will be recovered soon, thereby contributing to stabilizing the lives of the two countries’ people.
Vathon, Chief of Kratie province thanked Binh Duong province’s government and people for their support to Kratie province in Covid-19 prevention and control. With the support, Kratie will well uphold the local Covid-19 prevention and control in the coming time, contributing to stabilizing the lives of the local people.
*The same day, Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of Binh Duong provincial People’s Committee donated gifts to Kandal province in Cambodia in order to support Covid-19 prevention and control at Moc Bai border gate in the southern province of Tay Ninh.
The event was also attended by Nguyen Huynh Dinh, Vice-Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Senior Lieutenant-Colonel Dinh Trong Co, Deputy Head of provincial Military Command; Ney Cha Ray, Deputy Chief of Kandal province together with leaders of the province in Cambodia.
At the event, Mr.Hung asked for information on the situation of Covid-19 prevention and control in Kandal province while offering 25,000 medical masks, 15,000 cloth masks and other medical equipment together with US$30,000 to the locality.
The deputy chief of Kandal province, for his part, thanked the sentiments of Binh Duong province for the locality while affirming that this was a practical support program for Kandal province in Covid-19 prevention and control.
On this occasion, Mr.Hung also donated US$10,000 to representative of the Vietnamese Embassy in Cambodia.
