On October 24, a delegation from Binh Duong province, led by Nguyen Hoang Thao, Permanent Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee, visited Ha Giang province and supported VND 5 billion for the locality to overcome the aftermath of natural disasters, in attendance of Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of Binh Duong provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Vice Chairman of provincial People's Committee, along with leaders from Becamex IDC.
At the reception, leaders of Ha Giang province shared that since early this year, the province has been hit by 21 natural disasters, including storms and floods, causing significant damage to both people and property.
Espencially, the aftermath of typhoon No. 3, with heavy rains that triggered flash floods and landslides, caused severe damage in Bac Quang district’s Viet Vinh commune in late September.
Expressing sympathy for the losses and offering condolences to the families affected by the natural disasters in Ha Giang province, Mr. Thao hoped that officials and people of Ha Giang province would overcome their difficulties, quickly restore production and stabilize their lives.
On behalf of the Party, government and people of Binh Duong, the delegation supported VND 5billion for Ha Giang province to recover from the recent natural disaster.
Earlier, the delegation, together with leaders of Ha Giang province laid flowers and offered incense at Vi Xuyen National Martyrs’ Cemetery.
