Binh Duong team strives to high achievements at the 33rd National Karate Championship 2024

On October 18, the Binh Duong Karate team competed in the main events at the 33rd National Karate Championship - 2024 held in Dien Bien City from October 18 to 22.

At this year's tournament, Binh Duong Karate Team participated with a total of 23 athletes (18 males and 5 females), competing in individual and team kumite events. However, the team did not register for the kata competition. The goal of the entire team in this year's tournament is to strive for the highest possible achievement.

At the 2023 championship, the top karate fighters from Binh Duong province achieved 3 gold medals (G), 2 silver medals (S), and 3 bronze medals (B). Among them, prominent fighters such as Truong Nam Tien, Hoang Tuan Anh, and Nguyen Trong Phuoc are expected to bring home prestigious medals for their team.

The 33rd National Karate Championship - 2024 took place in Dien Bien City, attracting the participation of nearly 400 martial artists from 37 strong karate delegations across the country to compete. This is an opportunity for the Head Coach of the Vietnam Karate Team to assess the strength and readiness for international tournaments at the end of 2024, especially the SEA Games 2025 held in Thailand in December 2025.
