The art performance of “Binh Duong - Warm Land - Human love” by provincial Center for Culture and Arts at a national professional music festival
The 2024 national music festival will be organized in two phases: Phase 1 was scheduled to take place in Vinh Phuc province, but has been postponed, due to Yagi typhoon; Phase 2 will be held from September 29 to October 15, 2024 in Binh Duong. Accordingly, the opening ceremony will take place on the evening of September 29, 2024. The closing ceremony will occur on the evening of October 15, 2024, at Binh Duong provincial Convention and Exhibition Center.
The second phase of the festival in Binh Duong will attract 24 professional art troupes from public and private sectors; art perfomance units from armed forces; ballet symphony orchestra and opera units from public and private sectors nationwide.
Each participating unit will present one program or performance, lasting from 60 to 110 minutes, featuring a variety of integrated singing and dancing forms as well as Western art forms such as ballet, symphony, broadway, opera…
"This is a meaningful activity aimed at preserving, promoting, and enhancing the values of folk and traditional music of ethnic groups in Vietnam; creating favorable conditions for professional art units and artists to meet, exchange and learn mutual experience; and providing a chance for cultural management agencies and art units to discover young talents, thereby setting up suitable training plans. It is also an opportunity to introduce and promote the land, the image of the people, the potential, strengths, and economic-social development strategies of Binh Duong to neighboring provinces and cities.
