Morning September 23rd, PPC summed up the implementation of projects: “Propagating, educating Vietnamese women’s virtues in the accelerated industrialization and modernization period” in 2010-2015 (Project 343); “Educating mothers on good parenting” in 2011-2015 (Project 704); “Supporting women in vocational training and employment" of Binh Duong province in 2013-2015 (Project 295). In recent years, many effective models have been established from these projects. Specifically, due to Project 343, virtues of "Self-confidence, self-respect, kindness, responsibilities" have been widely disseminated in order for all women, people in the community to learn about the necessity of the training in these virtues in the industrialization – modernization period.
Through programs and movements, established clubs under Project 704 have helped more than 17,000 mothers, 70,000 fathers having children under 16 in having basic knowledge of science-based parenting practices, contributing to reducing the proportion of malnourished children, dropouts and children under 16 who violates laws, suffers from social evils...
Vocational training for female workers and rural workers in the province has been paid attention by all levels, sectors and localities. Women have received favorable conditions for participating in vocational training, self-employment to improve their incomes.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Liem appreciated efforts of Steering Committees, Organizing Committees of the projects and advisory role of Women's Union at all levels during the implementation process. The projects have received consensus among all Party and governmental levels. However, Mr. Liem also emphasized, provincial Women's Union had to coordinate closely with related agencies to realize these contents: devising solutions to make the projects more practical; consolidate Steering Committees, Organizing Committees of all levels; build up key reporter, propagandist force to universalize projects…
On this occasion, provincial Steering Committee of these 3 projects commended 78 collectives, 104 individuals for outstanding achievements in the implementation process.
