Over the past years, youth movement at Binh Duong University gains gigantic results in quantity and quality.

Supporting students’ learning
In order to spur emulation movement of learning, Binh Duong University’s youth union holds many concerted programs such as IT clubs, foreign language club, literature and art club, young entrepreneur club and more for students. The university youth union often organizes collective learning sessions, serious exam seasons and more, creating a lively learning and emulation ambience at the university. As for scientific research movement, the university youth union in cooperation with faculties and the university students’ society holds many seminars on scientific research for students.
Over the past 3 years, the division of scientific research receives 81 research topics from students and supports VND745mil for these topics. Many topics show their feasible results and win high prizes. Besides, the university youth union in coordination with centers for students organizes probation courses at companies for final-year students and more.
Promoting voluntary spirit
The university youth union’s emulation movements are highlighted with the voluntary model on addresses and volunteer summer campaign. Over the past years, the university youth union granted 3 charity houses, 6,000 notebooks to poor people and students; completed one rural road work; held 20 volunteer Saturdays and green Sundays.
In the 2014 summer, the university youth union implemented many significant youth works of helping poor kids in Cao Lanh district, Dong Thanh province, installing 84 lighting pillars along rural roads, building a concrete bridge in Tan Nghia commune, cleaning a rural road at Gao Giong commune, granting nearly 2,000 notebooks to needy kids in An Binh and Gao Giong communes and among others.
In addition, the university students positively respond programs of humanitarian blood donation with the participation of 2,000 youths and unionists, gift visits to kids in Truong Sa, Ly Son, Phu Quoc islands and more.
Moreover, the university youth union held the program of protecting homeland seas and islands with the participation of more than 1,000 cadres, students.
Huynh Ngoc Phu, secretary of the university youth union said “with the slogan of Binh Duong University’s youths involve positively in emulation, creation, volunteer campaigns to protect the homeland, the university youth union will in the coming school years strengthen patriotism for students, improve quality of learning, especially awareness on self-study; diversify playgrounds and expand youth gathering to build a strong youth union”.
