Recently, thanks to attention and drastic instruction of the provincial People’s Committee on solving difficulties of compensation, site clearance…, the local key works of solving traffic jam on the national highway No.13 and shrinking time of site clearance and building of Phu Long Bridge’s access road have been solved effectively.
The national highway No.13 is a life-line route linking Binh Duong with HCMC and Central Highland provinces that shows a traffic jam at areas of Hoa Lan intersection, VSIP, Lai Thieu toll-gate station… To solve this situation, the local administration invited foreign experts to design urban traffic system in pursue of solving traffic congestion and accident.
At a work of access
road to Phu Long Bridge. A consultant unit set
out a measure of expanding lanes by site clearance along the route to minimize
noise. However, the measure has yet to be appropriate the local and country
common situation, owing to expense of compensation and site clearance is very
high compared with building cost.
The provincial People’s Committee chairman Le Thanh Cung, said “planning on land usage must base on thrift and limitation of site clearance and compensation, so we need more clever measures”. Architect Huynh Van Minh, vice director of the local Construction Department, said “the most feasible measure for the national highway No.13 is elevated roads in combination with modern urban traffic system of metro, motoray…”
To solve traffic jam at Lai Thieu toll-gate station, Hoa Lan intersection and VSIP, Nguyen Van Hoang, vice general of Becamex IDC, said “it is necessary to create a toll-gate stations based on alternate angle. It means that old toll-gate stations will be maintained whilst new ones will be opened at routes leading to Binh Duong. This measure helps save expense and minimizes site clearance”.
Applauding these ideas, Le Thanh Cung concluded “the province agrees on building toll-gate stations based on alternate angle and measure of building bottom roads”.
In terms of access roads to Phu Long Bridge with the length of 580m, site clearance and compensation for 60 affected-households with the cost of about VND49bil were completed timely.
These are main works with obstacles in building and site clearance solved by combination of modern techniques to boost perfection of local infrastructure facility.
