The signing ceremony of a cooperation agreement between Binh Duong provincial People's Committee and Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) for the period of 2022-2027 took place at provincial Administration Center on the afternoon of December 12. Attending the signing ceremony were Assoc. Prof. - Dr. Vu Hai Quan, member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Council, Director of the VNUHCM; Vo Van Minh, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People's Committee and leaders of universities under the VNUHCM and departments, sectors and localities in the province.

Under the agreement, the two sides will jointly implement six important contents in the period of 2022-2027, including cooperating in training, fostering high-quality human resources to serve requirements on the local socio-economic development, industrialization and modernization; cooperating in improving the quality of teaching and learning, especially supporting the development of spearheading and specialized schools; cooperating to support universities and cooperating with enterprises in the province; cooperating in developing Phu An bamboo ecological museum project; cooperating in developing material facilities for VNUHCM; improving the efficiency of scientific research, technology transfer, innovation and support for the implementation of smart city project.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Minh expressed his belief that on the basis of the principles, the contents of the signed agreement will contribute to improving the quality of human resource training in a fundamental way, in line with the trend of digital transformation and industrial revolution 4.0.
Assoc.Prof. - Dr. Vu Hai Quan said that this cooperation not only inherits the results of the previous period, but also has innovations under real needs. Its common goal is how to promote the meaning of cooperation and association between the two sides, which really brings much benefit to the society. Through this signing ceremony, VNUHCM commits to be always ready to accompany and comprehensively support Binh Duong province to closely cooperate for mutual development in the coming time.
