Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA), on January 9, forwarded a conference to sum up its activities in 2018 and define orientations, tasks for 2019.
Last year, provincial DoLISA advised provincial People’s Committee on well realizing social welfare programs. In terms of “Paying debt of gratitude” work, there are now 99.90% of revolutionary contributors with living standards that are equal or higher than that of locals. Among 6,278 policy beneficiary families, there are 1,206 well-off families, 2,125 and 2,941 with moderately good and average living standards…In 2018, the province spent more than VND114billion on taking care of revolutionary contributors; built and upgraded 17 gratitude houses; offered 53 saving books to them…
On this occasion, one individual was awarded the second-class Labor Medal of the State President. There were also 7 individuals with the certificates of merit of the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs; 21 collectives and 26 individuals with the certificates of merit of provincial People’s Committee; 31 collectives and 520 individuals with the certificates of merit of provincial DoLISA for their excellent performance in realizing tasks of 2018 and the Decision No.34 of the Prime Minister.
