Early December 6, an inspection delegation of the Ministry of Justice, led by Dang Thanh Son, Deputy Head of the Department for Punishment of Administrative Violations and Monitoring of the Execution of the Law, had a working session with provincial leaders about the implementation of regulations on social houses for the poor, revolutionary contributors and those who regularly suffer from natural disasters. Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee together with leaders of relevant agencies received the delegation.
Over the past time, provincial People’s Committee paid attention to instructing relevant units to seriously observe regulations on social houses for the poor, revolutionary contributors and those who regularly suffer from natural disasters. So far, the province’s total floor area for social houses has reached more than 761,000 square meters, supplying accommodations for around 87,000 people. Under the Government’s credit package of VND30trillion, province-based commercial banks have disbursed VND488billion for 1,043 borrowing cases, including VND173billion for the goal of buying social houses. From 1997 to 2015, the whole province built 3,731 houses worth more than VND81billion and upgraded 2,157 others with a total expense of more than VND30billion for revolutionary contributors. The province also supported more than VND1.87billion for 88 houses damaged by natural disasters from 2011 to 2014.
