The 8th South East Family Day Festival 2017 hosted by Dong Nai People's Committee was closed with the participation of 21 typical culture families from 7 provinces in the South East (Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Dong Nai, Binh Phuoc, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan). The festival took place with vibrant activities such as sports, entertainment, cooking with the theme "Delicious home dishes".

At the end, Binh Duong delegation won 10 prizes. Namely, the team won one 1st prize, two 2nd prizes, three 3rd prizes and one consolation prize of sports categories; one 2nd prize, one consolation prize of art performance; and one 4th prize of cooking contest. With these results, Binh Duong delegation was ranked second after the Tay Ninh. The Organizing Committee also handed over the flag to host the 2018 Southeast Family Festival to Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
This activity was to celebrate Vietnam Family Day Jun 28; at the same time, create a fun and useful playground for families, honor the values of typical cultural families in the region. This was also a very meaningful activity to connect and create an opportunity for exchanges and sharing experiences in the family work of the Southeast.
