Binh Duong women to be graceful and elegant in Ao Dai

In recent days, Women's Union at all levels has organized many practical and meaningful activities, focusing on the grassroots level to celebrate the 115th anniversary of International Women's Day (March 8, 1910 - March 8, 2025) and the 1985th anniversary of the Hai Ba Trung uprising, honoring the important contributions of women to family and society. This is also an opportunity for women to better demonstrate their roles and responsibilities, confidently entering a new era...

Female civil servants, public employees, and workers in the province happily wear Ao Dai.

Radiant with Ao Dai

During the first working days of March, female civil servants, public employees, and workers in the province proudly wore graceful Ao Dai to celebrate "Ao Dai Week." Starting from March 3, offices and units everywhere became more vibrant and lively as women donned colorful Ao Dai for work. Taking advantage of early hours, many ladies gathered at the office entrance to take beautiful photos in their Ao Dai. The enthusiastic response from women has had a positive impact on the community, helping to foster a sense of pride and responsibility in preserving and promoting our traditional national costume.

In Dinh Hoa Ward, Thu Dau Mot City, Women's Union organized an event to celebrate "Ao Dai Week," which included a contest titled "Elegant, Charming, and Shining Women in Ao Dai." The contest was held in a vibrant and exciting atmosphere, featuring numerous outstanding performances that showcased the charm and confidence of women in traditional Ao Dai. At the conclusion of the competition, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes in three categories: three first prizes, three second prizes, three third prizes, and six consolation prizes to the top contestants.

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 4 additional prizes to contestants with the most impressive costumes, most impressive performance style, best-behaved contestants and the unit with the largest number of contestants. The awards are not only a recognition but also a motivation for women to continue promoting the beauty and value of Vietnamese women in modern life.

In response to "Ao Dai Week," Women's Union of Hiep Thanh Ward held a conference to honor outstanding models for the 2025-2030 period. They organized a series of events to celebrate International Women's Day on March 8, featuring several meaningful activities. According to Ms. Huynh Thi Thuy Phuong, the activities aim to review and promote historical traditions of Vietnamese women while building their image in the modern era. They seek to affirm the important role of women within the family, community, and society. Engaging emulation activities among all levels of the Women's Union, including cadres, members, and women, are designed to promote a cultural and civilized lifestyle. These efforts focus on addressing and eliminating negative social issues related to women and encouraging women's creativity and entrepreneurship. The ultimate goal is to contribute to a "new era, an era of national rise," in line with the 2025 theme "Promoting the Role of Women in Building a Clean and Strong Party and Political System," as launched by the Central Committee of Vietnam Women's Union.
