Yesterday (August 14), the 8th Congress of provincial Youth Federation for the 2024-2029 tenure commenced its first working day. This congress aims at setting goals and tasks for the Federation’s activities and youth movements, contributing to building up a prosperous, civilized and affectionate Binh Duong.

Amid the atmosphere of welcoming the 8th Congress of provincial Youth Federation for the 2024-2029 tenure, provincial Youth Federations at all levels have organized lively emulation movements with numerous activities such as building new-style rural areas, developing civilized urban areas, supporting beloved juniors, conducting community health campaigns... These activities are part of the youth movements carried out by provincial Youth Federations at all levels, generating widespread influence.
Over the past five years, provincial Youth Federation and youth actively participated in volunteer activities for social welfare, including programs like "Winter Volunteer", "Spring-Summer Volunteer" and "March to the Border" with over 1,900 regular volunteer activities attracting thousands of members. Delegates vote to approve working regulations for the 8th Congress of provincial Youth Federation for the 2024-2029 tenure
Provincial Youth Federation directed and guided its branches to build up a core youth force, especially among young workers in industrial zones. This created resources for the Federation in its efforts to unite and gather young workers while also taking care of their material and spiritual lives through practical activities such as the Workers' Week, the "Dream Room" project, "Model youth lodging facilities", "Charity Classes for Children of Disadvantaged Workers", the "Journey to Connect Young Workers", youth festivals for ethnic minorities…
Innovations in content and operational methods by provincial Youth Federations at all levels, combined with proactive coordination with provincial Youth Union Standing Committee in implementing programs and projects, received support from members, the Party, government and people. Youth activities were widely promoted across various areas of life, creating opportunities for youth to participate in political, economic and social development tasks in the province.
With these achievements, provincial Youth Federation was awarded the Vietnam Youth Federation Central Committee’s excellent emulation flag for five consecutive years and was recognized as one of the leading units in youth movement emulation for the 2019-2024 period.
Enhancing the quality of youth movements
The resolution of provincial Party Congress has identified youth who will further hold a central position in the strategy of human resource and talent development. The province has always paid special attention to and cared for the local youth. To meet the demands of the new era, provincial Youth Federation, during the 2024-2029 tenure, needs to elevate its thinking, focus on innovation and improve the quality of its activities, movements, programs and campaigns.
Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of provincial Youth Union and Chairwoman of provincial Youth Federation stated that the action slogan for the 2024-2029 term is: "Binh Duong Youth: Aspiration - Pioneering - Solidarity - Creativity for the Development of Binh Duong". In the new term, the entire Federation will aim at strengthening and developing a robust organization in terms of ideology, politics, unity and action while expanding the front of uniting and gathering youth.

Simultaneously, efforts will be made to build up a generation of youth with revolutionary ideals, deep patriotism, national pride, self-reliance, and a strong desire to contribute while fostering a sense of responsibility toward the country and society; create an environment that encourages learning, training, work and healthy development for youth while also nurturing necessary qualities and abilities for youth to take on pioneering, volunteer, and creative roles in building and defending the nation.
