Provincial Youth Union's Standing Committee has launched a special emulation movement with the theme of "Binh Duong Youth are Proud and Confident in Following the Party" to celebrate major holidays, political events of the country and the province as well as marking the upcoming Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 tenure.
Vibrant initiatives
In 2025, provincial Youth Union's Standing Committee directed all Youth Union branches to launch emulation movements in celebration of the 95th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025) and Party Congresses at all levels towards the 12th provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.
Emulation activities will be implemented by provincial Youth Union's Standing Committee in each phase associated with major holidays and political events such as the founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, the success of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam among others.
During these commemorative days, provincial Youth Unions at all levels will strive to achieve remarkable results in celebration, alongside thematic activities such as "Remembering Uncle Ho, our hearts become purer". These activities will also celebrate Party Congresses at the grassroots, district and equivalent levels as well as provincial Party Congress. In addition, the youth in the province will engage in intensive emulation efforts to successfully accomplish the targets outlined in provincial Party Congress's Resolution, including Party building and political system development, economic and social progress and assurance of national defense and security goals for 2025.To concretize these commemorative activities, provincial Youth Union will implement 10 youth projects at provincial level and instruct Youth Union branches at all levels to carry out youth-led initiatives under the targets set by district, commune, ward and town-level Youth Unions. Furthermore, grassroots Youth Unions will organize volunteer activities, community-driven initiatives focusing on urban rejuvenation, new-style rural development, local history education about provincial Party organization and its history. Promoting youth’s role
The focus of the emulation movement is that provincial Youth Unions at all levels have organized forms to contribute opinions on draft Party congress documents at all levels; proposed projects and contents for the Party in youth work and 100% of Youth Union members are Party members who participate in giving opinions on documents of Party congress at all levels.
Last week, at Tan Dong Hiep ward in Di An city, the local Youth Union organized a meeting between leaders of the ward and young Party members contributing opinions to the draft documents for the Party Congress of the ward for the 2025-2030 term. The meeting took place in a constructive and responsible atmosphere, providing an opportunity for young Party members to offer suggestions on strategic directions and solutions for the local development in the new term. During the meeting, young Party members made suggestions on improving the quality of administrative management through enhanced digital technology applications, developing a green and sustainable economy and implementing solutions to promote environmental protection…This meeting between leaders of the ward and young Party members not only contributed to the draft documents for the Party Congress, but also emphasized the proactive spirit of youth in the efforts to build and develop the locality.
In addition to giving opinions on the draft documents for the Party Congress, in 2025, Youth Union branches at all levels will organize study sessions to disseminate and implement the resolutions of the Party and Youth Union congresses at each level, in line with the specific conditions of their localities and units. They will also advise Party committees and local authorities to hold meetings and dialogues, listen to the opinions of Youth Union members and adolescents and actively participate in providing opinions for the development of the Party and the political system.
Tran Thi Diem Trinh, Secretary of provincial Youth Union stated that provincial Youth Unions at all levels will carry out campaigns to promote awareness before, during and after Party Congresses at all levels. In addition, they will organize online and offline writing competitions learning about the Communist Party of Vietnam. They will also continue implementing activities to study and follow the thoughts, morality and lifestyle of President Ho Chi Minh. Furthermore, all Youth Union branches will organize political discussions on the themes of "Confidently Following the Glorious Communist Party" and "Remembering Uncle Ho, Our Hearts Become Purer."
In the 2025 emulation movement, the entire Youth Union across the province will honor 1,000 outstanding young Party members, Youth Union officials, youth leaders, students, Young Pioneer Organization members and children in various fields. They will also introduce outstanding Youth Union members for Party consideration for membership.
