At 14:00 hours of November 29-11, at the square of Binh Duong Provincial Central Administration the festival of "young people in Binh Duong Province heading towards the homeland islands and ocean" will officially take place. The festival attracts about 10,000 teenager and local people.

Under the plan, 3,000 Young Pioneers members, club members, groups and teams of religious youths, ethnic youths, seniors, veterans, former youth volunteers... will be massed for dances and symbolic human arrangement of Vietnamese map and flag.Coming up next will be the flag salute and national anthem ceremony before Vietnamese flag to establish a record.
The festival will also include an exhibition of products made in the two programs of "million Binh Duong hearts towards the homeland islands and oceans" and "thousand ceramic disks - the expression of love"; concurrently, personnel are arranged in photography programs and painting on 500 ceramic disks.
For youth members to express their spirit of heading towards the homeland islands and ocean, the activity of "fingerprints - the expression of maritime sovereignty" with the fingerprint impressed on the model landmark to confirm the sovereignty of Spratly and Paracel islands to encourage protection of homeland islands and ocean.Every student, every youth in the festival will also draw pictures and slogans agitating the propaganda theme of "I love the Vietnamese sea and islands" from stickers.
The programs of "supporting the far away islands" and culinary stalls, recreational games and events, artistic balloon making, potrait drawing, etc. are promising to create a jubilant atmosphere. The stalls are set up by enterprises, clubs, groups, teams, and island districts in combination with Binh Duong Province to sell the related merchandise. Specifically, the stalls are designed by handicraft villages including pottery, lacquer, and fruits depicting the specialty of the islands. Following up will be the opening of the exhibition of "Binh Duong people and land heading towards homeland islands and oceans" extending to December 9 on the content of traditional villages of Binh Duong Province, Binh Duong on development, and Binh Duong in the past and the present. Particularly, at 19:30 hours will be the exchange programs, performing arts of "Binh Duong Province and the sentiment towards homeland islands and oceans". The performing arts program includes four chapters, including islands and ocean - love and life; wave overcoming; and connection.In addition, the organizers will conduct the awarding of works and items to marine police force, the navy, the fishermen on the island and the flag offering etiquette.
Ms. Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of Binh Duong Provincial Youth's League said: " This activity is to demonstrate the significance of Binh Duong youth connected with homeland islands and oceans, from which, the confirmation of sovereignty of Vietnam is made.Through the program, patriotism and love for the nation are highlighted; awareness and responsibility of leaguers, teenagers, and members of sacred national sovereignty are improved. This is also the festival for teenagers and local people to express their love for homeland islands and oceans and participation into activities of safeguarding the sovereignty of islands and oceans".
