Each person can show their love for the country in different ways and manners; however that is, the enthusiasm of Binh Duong youths is energized constantly. Binh Duong province is a locality of no sea or islands, thus, should anyone be asked about this subject they only express their loving feelings and affection for the sea and island homeland.
In the sense of improving the roles and responsibilities of the youths in keeping the sea-island sovereignty, Binh Duong Youth's League has mobilized its members across the province to support programs of "contribute stones to Spratly Islands" and "for the sea and the islands".
The campaign has seen enthusiasm of the Youth's League members.Beside the contribution of materials, the angelic sentiment for the sea, the islands, and the homeland resides in the heart of every young Binh Duong youths.
In those remote areas on daily and hourly basis the most heroic men hang on in the middle of stormy seas, ready to sacrifice their youth for the territorial integrity and peace of the country.
Expressing her heart full of emotions, Pham Thuy Lien, a Youth League member in Thuan An Town said: "The sea and island are the parts of our territory, of our dear country.The the soldiers are keeping the eyes keen on the land, guarding the country's airspace.The sea and the islands are though far away from their beloved, they keep their love all for them.Protecting and preserving the seas and islands of the homeland are the responsibility of everyone of us."
The link of intangible emotional lines between the offshore islands and the mainland has made Binh Duong youths to promise to themselves that they should always train ourselves and be proud of the country's territory.
Material values can beautify the seas and islands but the understanding of national pride are of the importance.
Recently, the seas and islands of Vietnam have been loved and cared about by all the people through their messages full of love in the campaign of "contributing stones to Spratly Islands".
The "stones" elevated above the waters in the vast sea of the country symbolize the spirit of national unity.
On and on, the sea and islands shall be beautified by such stones. The wishes to one visit to islands and homeland are the common feelings of most of the young people in Binh Duong. Carrying with them is the knowledge, youth health and above all the love and enthusiasm of the younger generation with sea-island homeland.
For today's young people, improving knowledge is meaningful to contribute to the building of homeland and the sovereignty of the sea and islands.
With her feeling for the sea and the islands, Nguyen Thi Ngoc, a high school students of Di An High School once wrote: "The S-shape of Vietnam forms a line of silk on the blue background of a vast ocean."
For her, the blue ocean and the white sand where the boats lie on are the most beautiful images of all.
She called upon her peers to show their consciousness and patriotism and take actions to preserve and protect the homeland, the sea, and the beautiful islands of the country, following the tradition of the history of pride.
