In recent years, Vietnam Poetry Day has truly been a festival for poets, artists and those who have passion for poetry, an opportunity to honor the good values of poetry and the contributions of poets to the development of the national culture. Along with the theme of "National Harmony" of Vietnam Poetry Day 2024, many places in the province have organized activities to further inspire writers, artists and poetry lovers.
“Sound of Binh Duong - Harmony with the country”
That was the theme of the poetry and music night organized by provincial Literature and Arts Association in collaboration with Thu Dau Mot city’s Center for Culture, Information and Sports. The program took place in the colorful, ancient space of the Traditional House of Thu Dau Mot city, attracting the attention of a large number of residents and tourists.

The opening was the recitation of famous poems, namely "Nguyen Tieu" by President Ho Chi Minh, "Southern Rivers and Mountains" by Ly Thuong Kiet, "Remembering the North" by military commander and poet Huynh Van Nghe... Next was the introduction of new poetic works by poets and songs set to music by members of the song writing club of provincial Literature and Arts Association from poetry.
Talking to us, author Nguyen Minh Ngoc Ha said that the program was held at the Traditional House of Thu Dau Mot city for the first time, so it evoked excited emotions in the members majoring in literature. In addition to the performance by artists from Ho Chi Minh city, the program also had the participation of artists from the Theater Branch of provincial Literature and Arts Association. Therefore, works added more flavors, attracting numerous audiences and tourists to enjoy.
According to people's artist Thu Hong, she was really happy when expressing beautiful and proud poems about the beauty of spring and the beauty of her hometown Binh Duong. Among them, there were people who love poetry, know how to enjoy poetry and know how to add vitality to poetry with melodious and passionate melodies of music. The program has brought a colorful harmony of poetry about life, about "the land and people of Binh Duong" while creating a unique musical poetry atmosphere to "harmonize with the country", bringing everyone with meaningful poetry and music to love life, love people and contribute more and be more creative.
Sweet Nguyen Tieu festival

Recognized at the "Nguyen Tieu Poetry" festival organized by Thuan An city’s Center for Culture, Information and Sports, poets and poetry lovers together reviewed the tradition of Vietnamese Poetry Day while reviewing the formation and development of the local poetry clubs.
According to Nguyen Tan Dung, Director of Thuan An city’s Center for Culture, Information and Sports, the festival attracted 16 poetry and talent clubs from districts, towns and cities in the province. This was an opportunity for poets and artists of poetry clubs in and out of Thuan An city to exchange and learn from mutual experience, contributing to the development of the local poetry movement and diversifying the local cultural and artistic forms.
Coming to the get-together to celebrate the 22nd Vietnam Poetry Day - Nguyen Tieu festival 2024 at provincial Club for the Retired, members of the club’s Arts Performance Board had an opportunity to review activities towards the 22nd Vietnamese Poetry Day. In addition, members of the club recited famous poems by President Ho Chi Minh and patriotic soldiers in the nation's history, introduced new poems with the theme of "Faith and hope" composed by members of the club’s Arts Performance Board. Some typical poems are "Celebrate the Party, celebrate the spring" by Trinh Huu He, "Mother's heart" by Luong Thi Hao, "Veterans extending Tet greetings" by Tran Giap, "Spring poetry for the Party" by Minh Yen, "New Spring in Binh Duong" by Anh Nhien...
The “Nguyen Tieu poetry” program was also held at provincial Cultural Center and districts, towns and cities. Thereby, it showed that the 22nd Vietnam Poetry Day in Binh Duong was not only a place to exchange and meet those who have a passion for poetry, literature and art, but also contributed to further inspire writers, poets and artists so that they would further create valuable literary and artistic works, arousing the awareness and responsibility of each writer and artist in creating and encouraging people to join hands in building up a more and more beautiful and prosperous homeland…
