The provincial People’s Committee just delivered a document on preventing bird flu and strains of avian flu transmitting human. Accordingly, the provincial People’s Committee asked the provincial department of Agriculture and Rural Development to host and cooperate with relevant agencies to accelerate bird flu inspections in the locality in a bid to find out and treat epidemics.
In addition, the provincial Veterinary Bureau was steered to take samples for test on poultry to find out A/H7N9 viruses and other strains of avian flu.
The provincial People’s Committee also suggested the provincial Public Security to ask traffic policemen to host and cooperate with forces of veterinary, market control to seriously solve illegal transport of poultry.
Meanwhile, the People’s Committee at districts, towns and Thu Dau Mot city steered agencies and localities to closely manage poultry breeding in the province as well as strengthen operation of inspection system of epidemic diseases.
