Traffic safety education among pupils is regularly done by the province’s sector of education and training.
Provincial Department of Education and Training (DoET) has just made the 2015 plan on traffic safety education. This aims to raise the quality and effectiveness of traffic safety education among schools; improve teachers and pupils’ awareness and compliance of the law on traffic safety; build traffic culture in the whole sector.
Provincial DoET has also instructed its affiliates to speed up dissemination of information about the law on road, railway and waterway traffic among teachers and pupils, contributing to limiting infringements on traffic safety and traffic accidents. Accordingly, there has been a diversification in methods of traffic safety education at schools.
The sector is expected to organize provincial-level contest on traffic safety in mid September. Other competition named “Cycling for traffic safety” will be also organized in late September.
