Rural laborers know about labor market
Annually, Binh Duong lures over 400 newly invested projects, so over 45,000 laborers are needed every year. However, local labor source is not enough to meet businesses’ demand. The 1st Satellite Job Fair held at Tan Uyen district lured numerous local job-seekers.
With a rapid pace of industrial development, Tan Uyen has lured many local and foreign businesses. Therefore, the job fair was considered a bridge between employers and employees, vocational schools and job centers.
Job chance for laborers
A staff of San Thai Ltd. in Nam Tan Uyen IP, said the job fair helped businesses select proper candidates and advertise their trademarks. Nguyen Anh Tuan, a job-seeker, said “Job-seekers like us are really happy to join in the job fair. The fair helps us grasp recruitment demand at some businesses and seek a proper job”.
The job fair made laborers’ queries clear to help them approach adequate information on labor market in the locality as well as helped local laborers seek out proper jobs.
The provincial Job Center in cooperation with Tan Uyen vocational training school held the 1st Satellite Job Fair at the district. The job fair lured 92 businesses with the recruitment demand of 5,886 laborers for trades of mechanics, timber processing, personnel, insurance, electronics, telecommunication, household utensil, porcelain, food processing and other services.
