To bring joy of
traditional Tet holiday for privileged and poor families across the province,
all level agencies and mass bodies have positively paid gift visits to the
families.

gifts are given to the poor on Tet holiday.
On Tet holiday of this year, the provincial steering board of the Fund for the poor will spend 1,000 gift packages, each worth VND300,000 to local poor households and excellent-but-poor students. In addition, the board will grant 1,000 gifts, each worth VND200,000 to local social sponsor centers.
Meanwhile, poor immigrant laborers, who can not afford to come back their homeland on Tet, will enjoy gift visits held by local authorities.
Units, businesses and donors across the province have supported over VND13bil to the fund for the poor. The money will be spent to excel the goal of poverty reduction, gratitude repayment and social welfare policies. It is hoped that more and more donors will support the fund in the coming time.
