Bringing the beauty of Binh Duong into Ao dai

For generations, “Ao dai” (Vietnamese women’s costume) has always held an important position in Vietnamese costume and is the top choice for formal events. "Over the years, “Ao dai” has been designed in a more modern way with many unique ideas and details, but it still retains its original, traditional essence.

"After many years of being attached to Binh Duong, with love and desire to bring its image to more people, designer Chau My Ly has incorporated the iconic images of Binh Duong into “Ao  dai” as a way to express her love through the “Ao dai” collection named “Binh Duong - Where love begins".

"From the process of conceptualization to the stage of realizing “Ao dai” with symbolic images of Binh Duong province, it has been a challenging-but- fascinating journey for designer Chau My Ly. The beauty of this worth-living and affectionate land has inspired designer Chau My Ly to create this unique collection. The beautiful, distinctive images of Thu land, Binh Duong have been skillfully incorporated into “Ao dai” by designer Chau My Ly, as a way to convey her affection for this land and her hope that these images will be spread".

"To follow the journey of creation and the beauty of the collection “Binh Duong - Where love begins” by designer Chau My Ly, please watch the next episode of the program “I Love Binh Duong” conducted by Binh Duong Newspaper. The program will be broadcast at 6 AM on Sunday, July 14, 2024, on www.baobinhduong.vn and on Binh Duong Newspaper's social media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Zalo, TikTok…
